Under the aegis of the CEFTAC Platform (Central European Advocacy for a Fair and Transparent Competition), EUROLINK - House of Europe Foundation organizes, on the 29th of November 2010, the sixth edition of the European Competition and Competitiveness Day in Romania.

Along with the invited public personalities and diplomats, the topic will be debated by experts of the Competition Council, consultants in competition law from law firms, by other experts from the private sector, as well as by the main actors of the business environment - entrepreneurs, managers, and other practitioners.

First Part - How to avoid risks and consequences of the abuse of dominant position in the conditions of the fierce competition and of the increasing competitiveness in global markets?

Second Part - What are the practical consequences of the new public procurement regulations in Romania in front of the competition compliance regime, in the context of the absorbtion of EU funds? Romanian Realities - European perspectives - workshop in cooperation with the UPLR, ASAPRO and ACRAFE.

Third Part - How to improve the economic and managerial approach of the judicial expertise appraisal in the competition litagations? Premises provided by the new harmonized legislation from the point of view of the judicial authorithies’ prerogatives - workshop in cooperation with the Superior Council of Magistracy and the National Institute of Magistracy.
